<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display device where highly fine pixels are realized without incurring the increase of cost and where the occurrence of display failure is prevented. SOLUTION: In at least four vertical scanning periods, pixel transistors connected to all signal lines Xs are driven with one polarity by making a prescribed potential a reference at the same timing in one horizontal scanning period. When the first pixel transistor group selected at the first half of the one horizontal scanning period is driven with a positive polarity and the second pixel transistor group selected at the latter half of the period is driven with a negative polarity, in the case where the driving potential of the first pixel transistor group is fluctuated as the second pixel transistor group is driven, an offset potential to shift the reference potential by a prescribed amount in accordance with the fluctuation amount of the first pixel transistor group and also to disperse the driving potential after the fluctuation is made to be the driving potential of the first pixel transistor group and the second pixel transistor group.</p> |
