A composition Comprising an elastomer and a stabiliser mixture consisting of a) at least one phenol of formula wherein R a and R b are each independently of the other C1-C4alkyl and R c i s C6-C12alkyl, and b) at least one phenol of formula II wherein n is 0 to 3, R1 and R2 are each independently of the other C1-C12alkyl or -CH2SR3, R3 is C8- C18alkyl, phenyl or benzyl, and R4 is hydrogen or methyl.
