The invention provides a method for serving information from an information server (WS2) to a client (WBR1). The information server (WS2) receives an information request (RQ2) from the client (WBR1), the request including an identifier of primary information. In response to this request, the information server accesses the primary information (WP1) identified in the request and extracts context information therefrom. Then, on the basis of the extracted context information, the information server retrieves supplied information and serves it to the client. The supplied information may be served on its own, or along with the primary information. Also provided is a server system operable in accordance with the method and a computer program which can be executed on a computer or networked computers to perform the method.
