PURPOSE: An electric tilt steering column of a vehicle is provided to prevent relation between each steering angle of a steering wheel and a vehicle wheel from being changed by a tilt motion by regulating greatly the height of the steering wheel although the steering column is tilted a little. CONSTITUTION: An electric tilt steering column of a vehicle is composed of a mounting bracket(10) fixed and installed at a vehicle body; a tilt bracket(20) mounted rotatively at the mounting bracket; a steering column jacket(30) disposed rotatively at the tilt bracket; a transfer nut(40) installed rotatively to the tilt bracket in the center of the steering column and composed of a through-hole having threads on the inner surface; a tilt screw(50) formed with threads at one side and combined to the through-hole of the tilt nut; and a motor driving unit(60) installed rotatively at the mounting bracket and connected to the tilt screw to transmit rotary power.
