PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sheet material discharge device achieving a function of applying firmness to a sheet material while restraining any increase in size of a device without damaging a sheet material and an image transferred to the sheet material, and a bending restraining function of restraining bending of the sheet material by contact with both end parts of the sheet material, and an image forming apparatus including it. SOLUTION: In this sheet material discharge device 30, a transported sheet material 29 is clamped and discharged by pairs of rotors 31, 32, 33 composed of a plurality of upper rollers 311, 321, 331 disposed on a rotating shaft 34 and lower rollers 310, 320, 330 disposed opposite thereto.
