PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a screen printing apparatus which is aimed at increasing in the amount of transfers of paste immediately after cleaning without it reduces a productive efficiency and which can keep constant the amount of the transfers of the paste transferred by a substrate as a result. SOLUTION: The printing apparatus which the substrate is made to transfer the paste on a mask sheet, and performs printing by reciprocating a squeegee on a mask sheet surface comprises a squeegee unit which reciprocating relatively to the mask sheet while the squeegee remains conserved at a predetermined attack angle to the mask sheet surface, a control means which establishes the squeegee as the predetermined attack angle, and controls a printing movement, and a cleaning means which eliminates the paste adhering to the mask sheet. The control means is composed so that the attack angle may usually be established as initial printing angle which increases the amount of the transfers of the paste rather than the printing angle and printing may be performed after the cleaning of the mask sheet is finalized by the cleaning means.
