A channel selecting method is provided to select a specific channel and all channels simply by enabling a user to generate a screening assignment table directly. A channel selecting method comprises the following steps of: generating a virtual channel-physical channel through auto channel setup(S301); generating a basic screening assignment table by connecting the virtual channel-physical channel with a screening channel(S302); comparing the basic screening assignment table with a screening assignment table which will be edited(S306); editing a new assignment table which is generated through the comparison process(S309); and applying the edited assignment table as a current assignment table and outputting the applied assignment table to a corresponding broadcasting(S311). |
