<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical detector in which the dead zone can be reduced when it is arranged in a body installed by assuring an area to be occupied by a photodetector. <P>SOLUTION: In the optical detector 3, a wiring board 12 is provided on the surface side of a photodetector 11 to expose a first bonding pad region 15 formed on the surface of the photodetector 11, and a second bonding pad 17B is formed in a region on the inside of a first bonding pad 17A in the wiring board 12. Consequently, the wire bonding formation space can be located on the inside of the photodetector 11 in the optical detector 3, and the size of the wiring board 12 and the photodetector 11 can be equalized substantially. Consequently, an area to be occupied by the photodetector 11 can be assured sufficiently for the optical detector 3, and the dead zone can be reduced in the case of a buttable arrangement of the optical detector 3 on a cold plate 2. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
