PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve operability by showing propriety on prohibition of a post-processing position concerning a comparatively few choices before selecting the post-processing position.

SOLUTION: If a post-processing side is selected (S20), one post-processing position (item) that is a stapling position or the number of punched holes determined by such selection is fetched (S22), whether or not it is an prohibition item is determined (S24) by referring to a post-processing prohibition table (S23), and if it is the prohibition item, it is displayed in a grayed-out state (S25). Such processing is repeated concerning all the items.
