PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicle height adjusting device having good mountability on a vehicle and an advantage in product cost. SOLUTION: In this vehicle height adjusting device, a vehicle body B of the vehicle can be elevated by driving a hydraulic mechanism 10 held on the vehicle body B side in relation to the position of an upper end of a suspension spring S locking the vehicle body B side by the upper end, while carrying a lower end on an axle side of the vehicle. The hydraulic mechanism 10 is elongated by receiving supply of hydraulic pressure to a hydraulic chamber 11 from a hydraulic pressure supply and discharge mechanism 20 disposed at the outside, while being formed into a single-acting cylinder structure having the hydraulic chamber 11 partitioned by a cylinder body 13 and a piston body 12 inserted retractably into the cylinder body 13, and has passing holes 13a and 13b performing opening/closing controls of discharge of hydraulic pressure from the hydraulic chamber 11 by a retracting state of the piston body 12 in relation to the cylinder body 13 at a position corresponding to a stop position of the vehicle height.
