PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a recording head whose ink discharge accuracy for recording is improved by making smaller the distance between a discharge port surface of the recording head and a recording medium. SOLUTION: A recording head 1 of a back shooting method is arranged at the back surface of a substrate 2 in the position where a heater 7 faces a fluid chamber 11. An electrode 8 connected to the heater 7 is formed on the back surface of the substrate 2, and the electrode 8 and a wiring 15 in a support to supply electricity to the heater 7 via the electrode 8 are connected at the back surface side of the substrate 2.
