PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a polishing device of a drum type regulating wheel to polish and work a spiral screw groove of the drum type regulating wheel required to centerless-polish a taper roller bearing in high precision. SOLUTION: It is possible to polish and finish the desired spiral screw groove 3 by synchronously controlling motion to rotate the regulating wheel 1, to move it in the axial direction, to rotate a grinding wheel 9 to polish the regulating wheel 1, to revolve it to position at a position corresponding to an outline 2 of the regulating wheel 1 and to move the grinding wheel 9 in a direction to approach or separate from the regulating wheel 1.
