摘要 The invention relates to area of measuring technique, in particular to methods for measurement of large and medium distances, and can be used at development of range meters for military-industrial complex, geodesy, navigation, building, etc. Method of excess measurements of distance to a fixed object differs from known ones by fact that first one measures pressure, temperature of air and partial pressure of water vapor, with determination of value of refraction index for air. After having directed a modulated flux of infrared radiation to object with unknown distance, determination of main and additional delay times one determines and remembers total value of delay time. After having directed modulated flux of infrared radiation to object with unknown distance, determination of main and additional delay times one determines and remembers total value of delay time,where- error of determination of delay time by which one determines and remembers approximate value of distance, with re-calculation of value of distance obtained, with calculation and storage of delay time, one modulates by it the flux of infrared radiation with directing modulated flux of infrared radiation with envelope that has delay in time by, to object with zero distance, one determines and remembers, one chooses the envelope of the modulated flux of infrared radiation received with determination and remembering the main and additional delay times, with determination and storage of total delay timebetween the reference and delayed signals, with direction of modulated flux of infrared radiation with envelope delayed in time by, to object with zero distance, one determines and stores delay timebetween the reference and delayed in time signals, after that one determines and remembers total delay time, which corresponds the real distance, and on real value of distanceto the object under investigation one makes conclusion by equation of excess measurements. The method of excess measurements of distance to a fixed object proposed provides automated exclusion of systematic errors of measurement, and at repetitive measurements in each act it decreases random errors as well.
