PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a polyamide latent crimp yarn advantageously obtained in cost, imparting a sufficient stretchability and flexibility to a fabric. SOLUTION: The polyamide latent crimp yarn is formed of two kinds of polyamides which have different viscosities and are laminated side-by-side on each other, wherein a high-viscosity polymer is nylon 6/66 copolymer with a relative viscosity of 3.0 to 3.5, and a low viscosity polymer is nylon 6 polymer a relative viscosity of 2.0 to 2.9, and the polyamide latent crimp yarn has an initial Young's modulus of 15-25 g/d, a percentage crimp of 40% or more, and a strength of 3.0-4.0 g/d.
