PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a seeding amount-reduced greening method which can greatly reduce a seeding amount, and which enables greening without use of a joint agent, a solidification agent, etc. , causing a hindrance to budding. SOLUTION: This greening method comprises: a step of forming a growth base layer 1, the surface of which is provided with an uneven portion 3 of an aggregate structure, by using a material in which each of sandy soil, cohesive soil, a chip material and an aggregate agent is mixed with water; and a step of forming a seed layer 2 by dispersing seeds Q on the uneven portion 3. The uneven portion 3 of the surface of the growth base layer 1 is formed by employing spraying application by a method for scattering out a growth base material by a high-speed belt conveyor, or a Nekkochip method.
