PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To insert document management information and leakage source information as a printed watermark of a confidential document, and to make the leakage source information obtained from the watermark correspond to actual condition. SOLUTION: When a document to be output is a confidential document and an output destination is a file, a terminal device 200 stops the output of the document. Meanwhile, when the document to be output is a confidential document and the output destination is a printer, on the other hand, the terminal device 200 prints the document after inserting information, from which a leakage source can be specified, and management information of the document as a watermark.
