PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To generate image data suitable for printing at the time of printing still images from moving images. SOLUTION: At the time of generating moving image data by developing RAW data, RAW data identifying information used for generation of moving image frame and quality information indicating whether an error exists or not in the RAW data are superimposed on each moving image frame. When an image printing instruction is issued, the RAW data used for generation of the corresponding moving image frame are identified from the identifying information and the RAW data determined not to allow existence of error are developed from the quality information to generate the image data for printing.
