PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a motor driving system that has a wide operation range, achieves an efficient operation in each operation range, and also allows miniaturization.SOLUTION: A drive system for a winding switching motor includes a winding switching circuit which switches the in-phase connecting patterns of two or more windings into series connection or parallel connection and switches the interphase connecting patterns into star connection or delta connection by a plurality of semiconductor switches equipped with power MOSFETs and gate driving circuits using pulse transformers, a switching controller which supplies the plurality of semiconductor switches with ON/OFF control signals according to the adopted stator winding connection pattern, and a drive controller which controls the switching controller by deciding the stator winding connection pattern and also includes an inverter to control the inverter so that the stator winding may be supplied with a polyphase AC power. |
