摘要 A method of preparing high-purity borneol from camphor, camphor reduction product, and Borneo camphor. Borneol and isoborneol are produced by means of the reduction of camphor, the reduction of camphor contained in camphor reduction product, and the reduction of camphor contained in Borneo camphor through the use of reduction methods employing aluminum isopropoxide, sodium-alcohol, raney nickel, and the like. Camphor reduction product or Borneo camphor are combined with secondary alcohol - secondary alcohol aluminum having a low boiling point or with tertiary alcohol - tertiary alcohol aluminum having a low boiling point and, by means of heating in a sealed environment, the secondary or tertiary alcohol having a low boiling point is evaporated out, thereby producing borneol aluminum or isoborneol aluminum; by continuing to heat in a sealed environment, isoborneol is dehydrated and rearranged to produce camphene; then, by means of steam distillation, camphene and borneol are obtained. The camphene is separated from the borneol by one or a combination of a distillation-sublimation method, an extraction method and a column chromatographic method. The process is simple, easy to implement, environmentally friendly, utilizes an inexpensive reagent, is low in cost, suited to industrial production, and results in a high borneol yield. In the method, camphor, heavy metals and isoborneol in Borneo camphor and in camphor reduction product are removed, a high amount of borneol content is obtained, and a method of preparing camphene from Borneo camphor and camphor reduction product is provided.
