The present invention relates to a bus guide terminal device capable of quickly and accurately determining and handling the malfunction of a display device by eliminating weaknesses of an image-based visual inspection, reducing the power consumption of the bus guide terminal device, and improving the durability and reliability of the device. To this end, the present invention comprises: a display device including a backlight module and a display module; an android board wirelessly receiving and encoding an image signal and a text-to-speech (TTS) into a voice signal and an image signal, and then providing the image signal to the display module; and an environmental board providing backlight operation power to the backlight module, and generating a state abnormality information by determining whether the backlight is normal or not depending on the amount of currents supplied to the backlight module. The environmental board requests and obtains state information of the android board, wirelessly transmits the state abnormality information to an external management server through the android board, and resets power, supplied to the android board, by referring to the state information when the android board is abnormal. |
