PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image erasing apparatus for reversible thermal recording material by which images of a reversible thermal recording material can evenly and collectively be erased, and in addition, a high definition image can stably and repeatedly be formed with a clear contrast over a plurality of times even when a high speed printing of 200 mm/sec or higher is performed on the reversible thermal recording material which has already been erased.SOLUTION: The image erasing apparatus for reversible thermal recording material at least includes: a housing section for housing the reversible thermal recording material which has been printed; a means which keeps the stacking angle of the reversible thermal recording material uniform within a range of 30 to 60°; a heating element for warming air; a blower means which feeds the air warmed by the heating element to the housing section at an air velocity of 1 m/sec or higher and 30 m/sec or lower; and a means which regulates the angle of the air which hits the side surface of the reversible thermal recording material, in the image erasing apparatus. |
