The invention is related to a mobile rotating device (1) for machining aligned holes (23) in a machine housing (22), the aligned holes (23) forming a corridor of holes, and outer holes (23) of the corridor being made correspondingly in opposite outside walls of the machine housing (22). Furthermore, the invention is related to an installation for machining aligned holes (23) in a machine housing (22). The mobile rotating device (1) according to the invention comprises a shaft (2), a tool holder (3), and cutting tools (4) fixed in a tool holder (3). The tool holder (3) is implemented as a tube movable along the shaft (2), is connected to the shaft (2) to be rotatable therewith, and encloses the shaft (2) in the longitudinal direction for at least 50% of its length, preferably for more than 2/3 of its length, the tool holder (3) being supported by the shaft (2) at least at its both ends and including the means for precise positioning of several cutting tools (4). Both ends of the shaft (2) are not enclosed by the tool holder (3) and are implemented as support journals (6). One end of the shaft has a drive device (7) imparting rotary motion to the shaft (2) with the tool holder (3), while the other end of the shaft has a setting device (8) that moves the tool holder (3) along the shaft (2). The outer peripheral surface of the tool holder (3) carries the means for precise positioning of the cutting tools (4). The installation of the mobile rotating device (1) on the machine housing (22) is carried out by means of bearings fixed on outer surfaces of outer walls of the machine housing (22) by means of support holders (24), the support holders (24) comprising also means for moving the bearings in planes located approximately transversely to the longitudinal axis of the mobile rotating device (1) so as to provide the possibility of the mobile rotating device (1) movement and inclination with reference to the axis of the named corridor of holes. A special advantage consists in a high rigidity of the mobile rotating device (1), which, in combination with its installation in accordance with the invention, makes it possible to machine the holes (23) precisely in terms of the hole position and size. |
