PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a document management system allowing an existing document management server having no document management function by a folder hierarchical structure to manage by a folder hierarchy using functions of a keyword dictionary and an index included in the document management server.SOLUTION: A document management client registers a keyword representing a virtual folder structure in a keyword dictionary of a document management server. An identifier of the keyword dictionary corresponding to a stored hierarchy is registered while associated with each of a folder and a document. The document management client controls the folder and the document to be displayed by a hierarchical structure according to such registered information.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 9 |
