PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an aqueous ink that is excellent in dry-redispersibility, long-run discharge stability, and reset-dischargeability and that does not generate smoke upon dyeing with dye.SOLUTION: The aqueous ink contains: at least one dye having a sublimation property selected from a disperse dye and the like; dispersants; at least one compound represented by formula (1); at least one ethylene oxide adducted acetylene glycol-based compound; and at least one polyol compound. The dispersant is a styrene-acrylic copolymer and has a weight average molecular weight of 1700-20000 and an acid value of 160-250 mg KOH/g.
