PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an engine fuel supply system in which a fuel injection performed by an in-cylinder injection injector is completed within a rational period while employing a configuration in which an in-cylinder injection injector is positively used to supply fuel.SOLUTION: When an in-cylinder target limit injection amount is more than a required injection amount, an amount of fuel satisfying the required injection amount is supplied by a DI injector only. To the contrary, when the in-cylinder target limit injection amount is less than the required injection amount, a PFI injector injects fuel only by an amount corresponding to the lack of amount under a state in which the injection amount of the DI injector is kept at the in-cylinder target limit injection amount and then an amount of fuel satisfying the required injection amount is supplied by both injectors. When the required injection amount is not satisfied only with the DI injector and when the lack of amount cannot be supplemented only with the PFI injector, an amount of fuel exceeding the in-cylinder target limit injection amount is injected by the DI injector and then the amount of fuel satisfying the required injection amount is supplied by both injectors.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4 |
