PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of determining parking information in navigation devices.SOLUTION: A server receives journey information from a plurality of navigation devices, the journey information indicating one or more journeys made by each navigation device; determines, as parking areas 930, 940, 950, locations in which more than a predetermined number of vehicles were stopping longer than a predetermined time within a predetermined period on the basis of the journey information; and determines a parking availability profile, which indicates the likelihood of an available parking space for each time slot, on the basis of the numbers of vehicles parked in the parking areas and the journey information for each time slot.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 9 |
