CONTENT ADDRESS FIRST-IN FIRST-OUT DATA STORAGE DEVICE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable accessing and/or changing of contents of stored data words by providing a content address storage device and an FIFO for data storage to determine whether data are still transmitted to receiving processes or not by inquiring of data on a queue at the time of transmitting the data and other realtime data which are to be externally introduced. SOLUTION: At first, a content address memory first-in first-out means(CAMFIFO) 45 respectively stores data words to be inputted from a first data input port 45a in a stage 47a. A control port 46c performs controls as respective data words are successively moved through respective tages 47a to 47n to provide decision processes by switching means 49a to 49m. The switching means 49a to 49m respectively have plural data route inputs and data route outputs. Connections of selectable X inputs Ix to selectable Y outputs Oy provide CX control points and these points are controlled by data words from busses of the control port 45c.
