PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ink set capable of keeping stable discharging properties during discharge by an inkjet method in comparison with a conventional ink set, preventing occurrence of voids in an image, and exhibiting excellent scratch resistance.SOLUTION: The ink set includes: an ink composition containing at least a pigment, a resin having a structural unit represented by general formula (1) and a structural unit having an ionic group and at least partially coating the surface of the pigment, and water; and a treatment liquid containing a cationic polymer reactive to the pigment at least partially coated with the resin. In the general formula (1), Rrepresents a hydrogen atom, a methyl group or a halogen atom; Lrepresents *-COO-, *-OCO-, *-CONR-, *-O-, or a substituted/unsubstituted phenylene group wherein Rrepresents a hydrogen atom or a 1C-10C alkyl group, and the symbol "*" represents a bond linked to the main chain; and Lrepresents a single bond or a 1C-30C divalent linking group. |
