PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inkjet recording medium which is excellent in a thin line drawing nature and glossiness.SOLUTION: The inkjet recording medium has a support, a first ink receiving layer which is provided on the support and includes first inorganic fine particles and a second ink receiving layer which is provided on the first ink receiving layer in contact therewith and includes second inorganic fine particles. A peak diameter in a fine pore diameter distribution of the second ink receiving layer is smaller than that of the first ink receiving layer. Further a ruggedness index of the boundary line between the first ink receiving layer and the second ink receiving layer in a cross-section in a direction perpendicular to a surface, where the first ink receiving layer and the second ink receiving layer of the support are provided, is made to be 1.5 to 15.0. |
