The invention relates to a building component or construction element comprising at least one supporting member which is connected to an especially column-type or coated core part (K) and which contains at least one arrangement of supporting fibers which are embedded in an artificial resin binder matrix and which are joined to the core part or joined thereto by a separate adhesive layer such that they are resistant to shearing. The aim of the invention is to create building components or construction elements which are characterized by an extended range of application with high-quality coatings or reinforcements. The supporting member comprises an arrangement of supporting fibers which are pre-tensed, consisting at least partially of polymer fibers having a tensile strength of at least 0.5 GPa, especially at least 1.2 GPa, and a modulus of tractive elasticity ranging between a maximum of 150 GPa and a minimum of 80 GP. |
