PURPOSE: A vertical torch for an arc spot-welding machine is provided to keep the constant temperature of the flame, to prevent injury of the knee and the waist, and to reduce the fatigue of a worker by discharging gas and flames easily and adjusting the gap between the nozzle and the welding material. CONSTITUTION: A vertical torch of an arc spot-welding machine is composed of a nozzle(22) having a trumpet-shaped end and a cut portion(22a) or more formed for easily discharging gas and flames along the circumference of the trumpet shape, and a torch(20) of 80 to 120 cm in length combined with the nozzle by containing and composed of a handle part(24) having a switch(26) for welding. Gas and flames are discharged easily in welding through one cut portion or more formed along the trumpet-shaped circumference of the nozzle.
