The invention relates to a method for transmitting data in a system SYST comprising an emitter GWA and a receiver GWB which are to be interconnected by means of an intermediate device GK comprising means CNT for controlling a signalling port Q0 and a listening port Q1. The inventive method comprises: a step for configuring the intermediate device GK such that it is in a mode for authorisation access by default, in which any connection to the listening port Q1 is reputed to be authorised; a step wherein the emitter GWA stores an address AQ1 pertaining to the listening port Q1 to which the emitter is to be connected; and a step for the connection of the emitter GWA and the receiver GWB to the listening port Q1. The invention enables the volume of protocol communication required for the connections between emitters and receivers to be limited, and the optimisation of the dynamic management of a plurality of listening ports Q1 ... QN.
