PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a freely stretchable bed which can be stretched/contracted by a simple operation, and can surely be maintained under a desired length state. SOLUTION: This freely stretchable bed 1 is equipped with a pair of right and left side frames 30 which can freely be stretched between a head frame 2 and a foot frame 3. Thus, the total length of the bed 1 can easily be adjusted by advancing/retracting the foot-side side frame 32 to an inner joint 41 and an outer joint 42 which are connected to the head-side side frame 31. Also, adjusting the positions of through holes which are provided on the head-side side frame 31 and the foot-side side frame 32 enables the adjustment of the total length of the bed 1 by every desired unit length.
