PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manually operated lifter for wheel chair having a simple structure and allowing a wheel chair user to operate it easily. SOLUTION: This manually operated lifter for wheel chair eliminates a problem of a step when the user moves by his/her wheel chair. It is provided with an elevating part 10 having a pedestal 11 on which the wheel chair advances and is loaded, two elevating mechanisms 20 for elevating and lowering the elevating part 10 provided on both sides of the pedestal 11 in the elevating part 10, and two substantially circular handles 40 for occupant connected with driving shafts of two elevating mechanisms 20, respectively, and arranged so as to face both wheels of the wheel chair loaded on the pedestal 11. It is preferable that a synchronizing mechanism for synchronizing operation of two elevating mechanisms 20 is provided to realize smooth operation. COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
