PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a freely foldable storage box that can be folded into a compact form when not in use. SOLUTION: In the bottomed parallelepiped storage box that is open at the top, a bottom wall 2 formed of a flexible sheet is divided into right triangular bottom wall portions 2A and 2B along its diagonal line so that the right triangles are symmetrical about a point. Further, a slide fastener 10 is attached to the opposite hypotenuses of the separate bottom wall portions so that the bottom wall 2 can be opened or closed along the opposite oblique lines. In addition, the storage box is designed so that the flat plate shapes of side walls 3, 4, 5, and 6 are held, and the corner of each side wall serves as a bent 12 along which the storage box is freely folded.
