PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pneumatic tire capable of enhancing the performance in the initial service stage. SOLUTION: The first and second curved-shallow grooves 26 and 27 capable of absorbing water generated between a tread and a road surface and removing or reducing water film are formed in the tread of a block 20. A sub block 28 is defined into very small land parts 30 by the first curved shallow groove 26 and the second curved shallow groove 27. The first curved shallow groove 26 has a wave-shape inclined by a predetermined angle with respect to the tire circumferential direction, and the second curved shallow groove 27 has a shape which is line-symmetric to the first curved shallow groove 26 with respect to the tire circumferential direction.
