PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tape processing device which can easily form a braille on a namecard or a nameplate without impairing its presentableness and obliging a user to perform a complicated work. SOLUTION: This tape processing device 1 is for manufacturing a tape-like mask M through the following procedures: this mask M which is used in the way that it is superposed on the back of a braille-forming medium S with a braille B formed on the face by press-deforming not less than one impression point 301 corresponding to not less than one braille projecting point constituting the braille B with the help of a stick-like member from the back, and which has a braille image BG printed, indicating not less than one impression point 301. In addition, the tape processing device comprises an input means 3 for entering information for printing the braille image BG, an image data generating means 210 which generates image data of the braille image BG based on entered information, a printing means 120 which prints the braille image BG on a continuous printing tape T based on the generated image data, and a cutting means 130 which cuts off the printed part of the printing tape T as the tape-like mask M.
