A parking management system is provided to enhance user convenience by preventing a user from losing a parking ticket by replacing the parking ticket with a fingerprint. A parking management system includes a fingerprint recognition unit(100), a central controller(140), and an entrance/exit management unit(120). The fingerprint of a user is inputted to the fingerprint recognition unit. The central controller recognizes the vehicle of the user according to the recognized fingerprint from the fingerprint recognition unit and records entrance/exit data including entrance/exit times. The entrance/exit management unit manages the entrance/exit state of the vehicle according to the entrance/exit data stored in the central controller and controls a blocking unit. |
