RADIOTHERAPY APPARATUS AND IRRADIATION METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To raise safety by reliably performing irradiation with coincidence between an irradiation field corresponding to the aperture opening of treatment plan information and the actual irradiation field. SOLUTION: Radiation which is radiated from a medical linac body 4 and passes through an aperture 5 is photographed by an FPD 6. The actual irradiation field of the radiation is obtained based on image data which is obtained by photographing the irradiation field of the radiation. The irradiation field is collated with the irradiation field included in the treatment plan information. A radiotherapeutic treatment by the medical linac body 4 is performed or interrupted based on the collation result. COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
