PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a roman shade in which the appearance of a second fabric is not spoiled even if a first fabric is tucked up to the neighborhood of a head rail and moreover optical leakage in the shape of spot light to the interior of a room is prevented even if strong light is applied to the second fabric in a state that the first and second fabrics are pulled down. SOLUTION: The upper ends of the first and second fabrics 11 and 12 are attached to the head rail 16, respectively, and a first and second rising and falling cords 21 and 22, which are hung down from the head rail 16 in a way able to rise and fall, are connected to the first and second fabrics 11 and 12, respectively. Moreover, the first rising and falling cord 21 hung down from the head rail 16 is placed to the backside of the first fabric 11 and the second rising and falling cord 21 hung down from the head rail 16 is placed to the backside from the front side of the second fabric 12 through an insert hole 12a formed near the upper end of the second fabric 12. Furthermore, a third fabric 13 overlaying the insert hole 12a is attached to the front surface of the second fabric 12 in a state that a space to raise and lower the second rising and falling cord 22 is provided.
