A computer with a door for a hard disk drive and the use thereof are provided to protect the circuits and a hard disk drive when inserting the hard disk drive by mounting a protective plate on the lower surface of the hard disk drive. A door(2) for inserting a hard disk drive(3) is installed on the front part of a computer(1). A protective plate(4) is mounted on the lower surface of the hard disk drive. The hard disk drive is directly inserted in the computer. The hard disk is easily attached to and detached from the computer without an auxiliary unit such as a drawer.
