A MULTIFUNCTIONAL SEAL DEVICE FOR A VALVE FOR A DRINKING RECEPTACLE

A multifunctional sealing device (2, 2') for a valve (4, 4') structured for opening of a discharge conduit (8, 34) by virtue of upstream-directed movement of a sealing body (14, 36) relative to the discharge direction. The distinctive characteristic of the invention is that the sealing body (14, 36) is of a radially flexible arrangement; wherein the discharge conduit (8, 34) is provided with at least one storage seal seat (18, 20, 30', 40) for sealing re- ception of the sealing body (14, 36) when the valve (4, 4') is in a storage mode, and also at least one utility seal seat (22, 30'', 42) for sealing reception of the sealing body (14, 36) when the valve (4, 4') is in a closed utility mode; wherein the at least one utility seal seat (22, 30'', 42) is provided upstream of the at least one storage seal seat (18, 20, 30', 40); and wherein both the storage seal seat (18, 20, 30', 40) and the utility seal seat (22, 30'', 42) are structured for sealing against the sealing body (14, 36) during downstream- directed movement of the sealing body (14, 36).
