PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a valve driving actuator having a reduced size capable of preventing entry of water when arranged in water. SOLUTION: The valve driving actuator comprises a motor 6, a casing 7 storing the motor 6, and an output shaft 8 for outputting the driving force of the motor 6 to the outside of the casing 7. An internal space of the casing 7 is provided with a gear chamber 11 and an electric equipment chamber 14. Silicone oil A is filled in the gear chamber 11 and the electric equipment chamber 14. Intrusion of liquid into the gear chamber 11 and the electric equipment chamber 14 is inhibited. The silicone oil A is low in viscosity and does not reduce the gear efficiency of a gear 10. The silicone oil A is electrically insulating, and causes no problems even when it is filled inside the electric equipment chamber 14. COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT
