PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a loading platform elevating device easily removable from the upper surface of a load carrying platform of a vehicle and capable of facilitating the removing work itself. SOLUTION: This loading platform elevating device is provided with a loading platform 2 to place a cargo on it, a supporting part 3 mounted to a rear part of the load carrying platform 11 of the vehicle so as to freely be connected and disconnected to and from the rear part, an arm 4 mounting the loading platform part 2 on the supporting part 3, a lift cylinder 5 to be extended and contracted, and a power unit 6 to drive the lift cylinder 5. The loading platform 2 is ascended and descended between a rising position on the load carrying platform and a grounding position in the rear of the vehicle by the extension and contraction of the lift cylinder 5.
