PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress the current consumption of a direct current voltage converter without causing trouble to communication processing.SOLUTION: The mobile communication equipment is supplied with output voltage of a direct current voltage converter and controls the direct current voltage converter (20) by either pulse width modulation control or pulse frequency modulation control, the mobile communication equipment includes: a modulating/demodulating part (14) which demodulates a reception signal from a high-frequency transmitting/receiving part (10), modulates a transmission signal, and outputs the transmission signal to the high-frequency transmitting/receiving part; a communication control part (16) which inputs reception data and outputs transmission data to and from the modulating/demodulating part and performs communication control in accordance with an reception period and a transmission period addressed to its own station; and a direct current voltage converter control part (18) which controls the direct current voltage converter by pulse width modulation control in the reception period and transmission period, and controls the direct current voltage converter by pulse frequency modulation control in at least a partial period excluding the reception period and the transmission period. |
