<p>The invention relates to a process for converting the gravity energy into mechanical energy which is further converted into electric power. According to the invention, the process comprises the conversion of gravity into mechanical rotary energy by using a gravity turbine consisting of some caissons (2) joined to each other, at the extremities of which there are mounted two drums (15) having the role of shafts, supported by some self-adjusting bearings (14), the turbine being lifted by a mechanism (16) so that its centroid is permanently placed in the trigonometric quadrants I and IV, displacing some weights (3) by means of an automatic control system (26), the electric power needed for moving the weights (3) being provided by an electric power source (10), the lifting mechanism (16) comprising a reducing gear (24) and two gear wheels (4 and 9) of equal diameters, each provided with a recess for winding a cable (6) having the role of braking the weights (3), when the reducing gear (24) is driven into motion by an electric motor (25), the turbine which rotates due to the permanently maintained eccentricity being in connection with a speed multiplier (1) which engages some generators (11) converting the mechanical energy into electric power.</p> |
