PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cutting technique capable of efficiently and easily cutting cermet bars.SOLUTION: A cermet bar cutting device comprises: a cermet bar fixing device for fixing cermet bars; and a rotary cutter including a plurality of rotary blades to cut the cermet bars fixed to the cermet bar fixing device. The cermet bar fixing device comprises: a fixed plate with a plurality of cermet bar grooves formed by being aligned in parallel with one another; and a first pressing member which can be mounted on the fixed plate to support the cermet bars disposed in the cermet bar grooves of the fixed plate. The first pressing member includes a plurality of cutter slits having the same pitch as that of the plurality of rotary blades. When cutting the cermet bars disposed in the cermet bar grooves of the fixed plate with the rotary cutter, the plurality of rotary blades are configured to be inserted into the cutter slits of the first pressing member. |
