A display panel includes a substrate. A scan line and a data line intersect with each other and are disposed on the substrate. An active layer is disposed on the substrate and between the data line and the substrate. A transparent conductive layer is disposed on the substrate and above the active layer. The active layer includes a contact region electrically connected to the data line, a second contact region electrically connected to the transparent conductive layer, and an intermediate region disposed between the first and the second contact regions. A portion of the intermediate region overlapping with the scan line is a channel region. A portion of the intermediate region not overlapping with the scan line is a non-channel region. The width of the non-channel region is greater than the width of the channel region.

1. A display panel, comprising:
a first substrate; a scan line and a data line intersecting with each other and disposed on the first substrate; an active layer disposed on the first substrate and between the data line and the first substrate; and a first transparent conductive layer disposed on the first substrate and over the active layer; wherein the active layer comprises: a first contact region electrically connected to the data line; a second contact region electrically connected to the first transparent conductive layer; and an intermediate region disposed between the first contact region and the second contact region, wherein the intermediate region and the scan line comprise an overlapping area overlapping with the scan line and a non-overlapping area not overlapping with the scan line, the overlapping area comprise a first channel region, and the non-overlapping area comprises a non-channel region, and the non-channel region has a width that is greater than a width of the first channel region.
