Provided is a beverage preparation device wherein a beverage preparation part can be highly efficiently air-cooled. A powder milk preparation device (1A) comprises a heater (12) for heating a supplied liquid (L), and a milk preparation pot (4) in which the liquid (L) heated by the heater (12) is added to powdery milk (PM) to prepare a beverage. The milk preparation device (1A) is provided with a cooling part (30) for cooling the milk preparation pot (4) by blowing air so as to discharge steam from the milk preparation pot (4). The cooling part (30) blows air almost horizontally or upward toward an upper opening (4b) of the milk preparation pot (4).
