In order to perform efficient communications, a terminal device is provided that communicates with a base station device and comprises: a reception unit that receives host layer signals including settings relating to a physical uplink shared channel (PUSCH); a scrambling sequence generator that, if the terminal device supports functions relating to reduced complication and/or coverage expansion, applies the same scrambling sequence to the PUSCH during a certain period; and a transmission unit that transmits the PUSCH, on the basis of the number of repetitions in settings relating to the PUSCH.
